The opening pages of this book provide an overview of the life cycle of a frog, and then the following pages follow a tadpole from the time it is an egg until it grows up. The pages are filled with greens, and youngsters can sing along with the song on the accompanying CD while learning basic information about this interesting species.

A nonfiction--and beautifully illustrated--account of a tadpole journey to a frog. It has facts and entertaining moments to make the journey entertaining, and I look forward to using it in my frog storytime.
